I do appreciate the quick action taken to resolve the overgrowth of plants on Simcoe; it looks a great deal better!

Now, the problem is how to keep it that way. It may be a matter of bylaw enforcement there and in other parts of James Bay. The picture that was sent to you shows what may be an overhanging larch, which traditionally drops needles all year long, so should the owner of the property be required to keep that part of Simcoe clean, or pay for that cleaning by city staff?

There are certainly other James Bay streets where overgrowth of trees, bushes and flowers, even weeds (see attached pictures) need to be trimmed back annually or removed!

Does the city have that type of bylaw enforcement capability?  If not, why not?
