ALMOST HOME MADE CHICKEN SOUP
1 can chicken noodle soup
1 can water
2 small potatoes, peeled
3 carrots, peeled
 
 

Heat the water and chicken noodle soup. Add two peeled and cut up potatoes, 3 large carrots which have been cut on a diagonal. Cover, turn down heat and allow to steam until potatoes and carrots are done. This is a quick home made kind of soup.

PASTA & HAM PRIMAVERA
1 packet large Rotini pasta (227 grams)
1 package frozen mixed vegetables
1 ½ cups, diced cooked ham
1 jar roasted garlic alfredo sauce (14 oz)
 

Cook Pasta, add veggies during last 2 minutes and drain. Coat the same pan with cooking spray (or oil or butter), add ham and cook until browned. Add sauce, ¼ cup water, and pinch of pepper . Stir in the pasta over medium heat, and keep stirring until heated through. (Courtesy of Dorothy)

IMPOSSIBLE PIE (This one is named right...wait until you see how it goes together).
5 eggs
½ cup sugar
2 cups milk
½ cup flour
1 cup shredded coconut
2 tblsp melted butter or margarine
2 tsp vanilla (or any other extract)
 

In blender, mix the ingredients in the order listed. Pour into lightly greased 9 inch pie pan. Bake in 350° oven for 40-45 minutes or until knife tests done. The finished result will be a 'pie crust' coconut custard filling with shredded coconut topping. Serves 6 -8. (Courtesy of Grace)
