A Walker on the Wild Side

I’ve just had my right hip replaced

my walker’s my best friend

It doesn’t corner very well

            which drives me round the bend.

It runs smoothly over wooden floors

            but scatters all my rugs-

hates the straight and narrow

            so pulls and veers and tugs.

When Mother Nature calls at night

            I get up with a sigh

my walker makes strange noises-

            So do I !!
