Dirt Bomb at Irving Park

Wondering what the dirt bomb in Irving Park was all about last month?

The New Horizons Garden Committee has started to expand the Pollinator Garden into the corner of Irving Park. This project is being undertaken in partnership with the City of Victoria Parks Dept., and will be funded in part through a City grant. We'd like to acknowledge the help we received from the Esquimalt High Leadership Class to shift the soil into place for the foundation of the new beds.

Future plans include more flowers, fruit trees, and a demonstration bee hive accessible along a path to Menzies St.
