A good Muffin Mix

(This one you can keep in the fridge in a one litee ice-cream pail for six weeks and use as needed.)

1 ½ cups white sugar                      
2 eggs                                      
1 ½ cups oil (canola/veg.)
2 cups buttermilk
Then Add:
2 ½ cups flour (I use 1/2 wholewheat)
2 ½ tsp baking soda
½ tsp salt
Then Add:
1 cup raisins or dates or drained pineapple or dried cranberries or blueberries.
2 cups whole wheat bran        
1 cup bran buds (or 3 cups whole wheat bran)
1 cup boiling water
Let sit in refrigerator overnight. Take out what you need and bake for 20 minutes at 400°F.
