“Illustrating Emily Carr” ~ Illustrative works inspired by the Canadian Artist Emily Carr – created by members of the Island Illustrators Society.
The Island Illustrators Society has been creating topical group shows for over 25 years in the Victoria area. This spring’stheme exhibit “Illustrating Emily Carr” will combine works in all media and styles and will be held in Emily’s first studio as well as The People’s Gallery, at Historic Emily Carr House, 207 Government Street. A Preview Opening Reception will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, May 1, and the show officially opens 11 to 4 p.m., May 3 to 14. (Closed Sundays (Mother’s Day) and Mondays)
