Letter – A Happy Story

I want to share the story of Larry Freeman, the Manager at the Breakwater Market and a lost camera belonging to a German Tourist. A very expensive camera was turned into our info tent at the end of July. Larry looked through the camera's pictures and found photos of a couple behind their rented RV with a license plate showing. He called and emailed the RV Company in Langley, BC and asked them to contact their client to tell them the camera had been found. Finally after a few false starts, he was in touch with the tourist, who was in Port Hardy. Larry packed the camera and personally delivered it to Air Canada at the Airport. He went the extra mile to make sure the family got their camera back and had a great vacation in BC with lots of wonderful photos to remember our province.
