Letter - Sick of the noise

We have no idea who to turn to, so I am contacting you. We have been driven to madness by the last 24 hours of cruise ship’s constant engines running all night.

As if the lack of security at Ogden Point were not bad enough, allowing a new spate of wheel spinning, loud music, crazy driving in the Ogden Point car park, we have had the constant backdrop of the cruise ships’ engines, enough to make our home constantly hum. Why, if the ship is moored for over 24 hours, is the engine running? And the hum; it is brainwashing.

Why does Victoria Harbour Authority allow this? And why are Vic PD never visiting the Dallas Road, Ogden Point area at 10:30pm onwards? They would have many easy tickets to issue.
