Greater Victoria Harbour Authority is developing a ground transportation strategy for Ogden Point to reduce the impact of traffic in our community during cruise ship season. They will ask the James Bay Neighbourhood Association, City of Victoria, bus operators and other stakeholders to provide input.

“As good neighbours, GVHA is committed to ensuring that we work in partnership with the local communities and stakeholders to ensure that ground transportation to and from the Terminal is managed responsibly and efficiently to meet our mutual needs,” said CEO Ian Robertson.

Research and consultation will be completed during May and June 2015. GVHA will have an interim ground transportation strategy in place for the 2016 cruise season with longer term planning to be implemented over the next 10 years.
