I would like one more go-around on the locked mall washroom issue. Two people found it necessary to comment on my letter (and change the entire concept) by referring to the man's state of mental health and his unfortunate lifestyle. I fail to see the parallel, and neither does anyone I have spoken with. What I did not mention in my diatribe is that this person challenged me on a physical level (for disturbing his slumber, I would assume). With a fairly successful amateur boxing past (3-5-1 if interested), one can only imagine how this would have ended had it come to that sad conclusion. I personally know people who would have gladly obliged him, on account of his attitude alone. I have seen this individual around James Bay nearly every day and he is, without exception, drunk or stoned on every occasion. Sorry to get the last word on this subject but that, friends, is the very reason the washrooms were locked in the first place, not out of a lack of compassion. Maybe Thrifty's or Pharmasave would let him use their washrooms (or maybe you, if you live close by) I think not....

Mr. Barry Tateham

PS I notice that the combination to the door lock is still prominently displayed (on the window) by the same business in the mall.
