Thru’ A Glass Darkly

They all thought George
   a silly Ass
Inventing things made
   out of glass.

Glass for George was
   all that mattered
so he felt completely
   shattered

When neighbours said
   “for heavens sake
glass walls do not
   a prism make”.

He never messed with
   glass again
because it caused him
   too much ‘PANE’.
