City of Victoria 

The deadline for Artists to express interest in submitting proposals for “Public Art for Johnson Street Parkade” is Monday, February 2, 2015 at 4:00 pm. 

Interested Artists are expected to provide a resume, visual documentation of their work, and a conceptual overview of work and identify preferred Johnson Street Parkade site.

Submissions will be received electronically or by mail.  Finalists will receive a $1,000.00 honorarium.

Free Emergency Preparedness Workshops

Thursday, February 19 at Burnside Gorge Community Centre

Mayor’s Community Drop-In is scheduled: every other Friday in the Mayor’s Office and provides an opportunity for members of the public drop in to meet her, share thoughts, ideas and concerns.

The next scheduled times are 11:00 am to 1:00 pm on February 6 and 20: and March 6 and 20.  The Drop-Ins will be in the Mayor’s chambers.

The deadline for the Solar hot water CRD incentive program, March 2015, is fast approaching and a few rebates remain. Act fast as installations can take up to two months to complete.
