One of the great pleasures of James Bay is the walking. Walking does it all: to do simple errands; getting some exercise; clearing the mind of meddlesome thoughts. However, not all of us are that fortunate. Canes, walkers, mobility scooters, a friend to hold your arm, not always so convenient. The hazards, rough pavement, uneven curbs, call the city. And, the City does seem to follow-up. But shrubbery encroaching onto and over sidewalks should be your responsibility dear property owner. Clip it, prune it, bonsai it, but get it out of the way of pedestrians. And, the question this month is: Why doesn’t the city get pro-active, issue warnings and then follow-up?
